Cat was born and raised in Durban and discovered her passion for art during her school years.
After studying visual arts in Stellenbosch, followed by fashion design in Durban, she decided her creative passion is for tattooing.

She wants her clients to know that no matter how big or small, each tattoo is important to her.
She is a perfectionist and puts her all into every tattoo that she does.
How Cat got into the industry...
In her own words:
"I had known for years that I wanted to tattoo but I didn't think I would ever be able to break into the industry. At age 28 I thought I had waited too long and it would just remain a dream, but I ended up crossing paths with an incredible individual who made me realise that you can change direction and follow your dreams at any age. I didn't know it then, but this man would later become my boss, my friend and my guide through the wonderful world of body art.
Through him, I was able to do my apprenticeship at his studio, one of the top studios in the country, and then work there as an artist. I was fortunate enough to have not one, but two mentors. They are both incredibly talented and knowledgeable artists. They helped me build a solid foundation and provided me with a nurturing learning environment. I was able to discover my artistic style, although I believe that you never stop growing as an artist."
